Few changes mark newest women's rankings

06/18/2007 - Philadelphia, PA (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - Following an off week for the LPGA Tour, there were few changes to the Rolex Rankings for women's golf.

Lorena Ochoa remained No. 1, followed for the second straight week by McDonald's LPGA Championship runner-up Karrie Webb. Annika Sorenstam was third again, McDonald's LPGA winner Suzann Pettersen was still fourth, and Kraft Nabisco champion Morgan Pressel remained fifth.

Paula Creamer, Cristie Kerr, Juli Inkster, Se-Ri Pak and Ai Miyazato rounded out the top 10, with Pak replacing Miyazato at No. 9.

The rest of the top 20 included Brittany Lincicome, Mi Hyun Kim, Shiho Oyama, Jeong Jang, Ji-Yai Shin, Stacy Prammanasudh, Jee Young Lee, Yuri Fudoh, Mi- Jeong Jeon and Pat Hurst.

Shin was the biggest mover of the bunch, gaining four spots from last week to 15th.

Academy Award Betting Odds for Best Picture Offer Great Value

If there is any category that is not an obvious win for any one nominee in this year's Academy Awards, it would be for Best Picture.  Sure the Departed is a 5/7 favorite, but that's hardly anything when we look at Helen Mirren and her "out-of-reach" 1 to 40 odds (which means you would win a whopping $1 for every $40 bet).

Who is to say independently produced Little Miss Sunshine won't be this year's Crash.  Last year, Crash won for Best Motion Picture, shocking those who bet on gay cowboy flick, Brokeback Mountain, as the favorite to win.
